If I had to pinpoint a time of year when it’s best to sign up for streaming services, this week is it. Thanks to Black Friday, tons of streaming services are offering deals on subscriptions, including Apple TV and HBO Max, and now Disney+ and Hulu have joined in.
Now through December 1, new and returning subscribers can score the Disney and Hulu Bundle (with ads) for $5 a month for an entire year, 62 percent off its regular price of $13 a month. However, since this is for a full year, the total cost is $60. Still, this is an incredible deal that saves you $8 a month and almost $100 over 12 months.
Disney+ and Hulu are filled with original shows and movies, so if you’ve never subscribed before or are returning after a break, now’s a great time to sign up.

What’s worth watching on Disney+ and Hulu?
Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and tons of original shows
As a Star Wars fan, the main reason I signed up for Disney+ is to watch any Star Wars movie whenever I want and to catch all the latest shows, such as Andor. If you’ve never watched Andor before, it is, in my opinion, the best live-action Star Wars show ever made, and it shows a grittiness and realism to the galaxy we’ve never seen before. If you get this bundle, I recommend putting Andor near the top of your viewing list, as two full seasons are available, totaling 24 episodes.
Of course, Disney+ also has all the Marvel and Pixar movies, so if you’re not into Star Wars, there is still plenty to watch. Most of Disney’s classic films are available on Disney+, including The Lion King, Aladdin, and Cinderella.
With the holidays just around the corner, Disney+ is also home to some of the best Christmas movies, like The Santa Clause, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and my personal favorite, Home Alone. And on Hulu, you can check out classic holiday flicks like The Polar Express, Miracle on 34th Street and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
Hulu, in particular, also gives you access to a ton of great TV shows that have premiered over the past few years, with my favorites being The Bear, Shogun, and Only Murders in the Building.
At just $5 a month for a year, this Black Friday deal on the Disney+ and Hulu Bundle (with ads) is tough to pass up, and it will give you plenty of shows to watch during the holidays and into the new year. This offer is available until December 1, so act quickly before it ends.
